The paradox in this composition artwork painting is the juxtapositioning of two opposite concepts whereby the man, who is me the artist, is holding an umbrella shielding himself from the rain which can signify the trials and tribulations of life contrasts itself to the sun which is shining and illuminates the mood of the painting which is happy, serene and full of life. In this philosophical artwork, which also draws inspiration from the Holy Bible, the children lead the way to our happy and peaceful oasis and convey the message that if we are free, innocent and pure as children, the kingdom of God and heaven is our’s to share with the chosen ones. Another interesting aspect of this contemporary art, the people, landscape and main part of the visual story takes place on the upper part of the canvas occupying a third of the composition which reinforces the concept of my philosophy in this painting that the darkness and tribulations are at the bottom and the hope of glory, peace and happiness is on top where the sun is positioned and where we are aiming for to rejoice.

This is my adventure fusing fashion and art together creating haute couture wearable art. I hand painted a Tahiti theme on this 100% cotton jacket and I then proceeded to heat set the special fabric paints: I was fortunate to have some well-needed help from experienced seamstresses including my mother to set the Austrian crystal stones and other kinds of stones on the jacket completing the job sewing with transparent fishing nylon string to solidify the stones set on the jacket. The regular, metallic and iridescent high-quality paints accompanied with glitter paint and the special stones add the glamour and exotic look to the custom wearable art jacket which also has some accents of black leather. I was easily inspired by Tahiti with this geographical exotic treasure of nature to create this art jacket and a series of other haute couture wearable art clothes which I sold to private customers and some exclusive clothing boutiques.
